UNITED24, together with the Ministry of Digital Affairs, launched the first state fundraising app to support five units of the Drone Line project. We tell you how it works.
"Gamification is one of the game changers of war, which we tested in the Drone Army bonus program, and now we are scaling it to the fundraising process. This way, even more people in the world will support the Ukrainian army and influence the course of the war with their donations," the Ministry of Digital Affairs said in a statement.
The application can support5 units:
429th separate regiment of unmanned systems "Achilles";
20th separate regiment of unmanned systems "K-2" (20th OPBpS);
414th separate brigade of unmanned aircraft systems "Birds of the Magyar" (414th OBrUBAS);
427th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment "Rarog" (427th UAS Regiment);
Phoenix Unmanned Aircraft Systems Unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
How does it work?
Donors from any country can donate to a specific unit in just a few clicks. They can also see in real time how their contributions are working, maintain direct communication with the Drone Line units, learn about their needs, and receive thanks directly from the military.
In the application, you can choose a call sign, avatar, and donate directly to selected units, for which you receive:
exclusive content from the military — from cooking borscht in a dugout to stories from combat operations;
UNITED24 has created a website with "walks" through cities that have been affected by Russian attacks. These include Kyiv, Irpin, Kharkiv, Izyum, Chernihiv, and Sumy.
