Offer accommodation for Ukrainian refugees (in any city in Germany):
Hauptbahnhof (Berlin railway station) and ZOB (central bus station) are the most important volunteer centers right now. There you can meet the refugees, help them with interpreting and finding accommodation. Ukrainian- and Russian-speaking volunteers are in great demand there.
Humanitarian aid is also collected at these locations. Here’s the list of most needed items (in German). There is always a need for medicines, soap/shampoo/shower gel, food, face masks, baby food, and diapers. You can also download this file with all the important info in Ukrainian, Russian, and English to hand it out at train stations and volunteer centers as a handy memo for people coming from Ukraine.
