Apple is preparing for its 50th anniversary. Users can expect an updated Siri, smart home gadgets, a foldable iPhone and much more.
Apple will celebrate its 50th anniversary in April 2026. The company expects a holiday quarter with revenue of up to $139 billion, which could be the first $140 billion quarter in history.
Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman writes about this in his weekly Power On newsletter. He published a list of new products that the company will present to users next year.

AI, Siri and Apple’s new strategy
2026 could be one of the most important years in recent history for Apple. The company is preparing a massive breakthrough in artificial intelligence — with a unified AI strategy and an updated Siri voice assistant, which will work on the basis of the Google Gemini model, adapted to Apple’s infrastructure.
The updated Siri will be able to better process requests, perform tasks through Apple Intelligence, and support AI search developed in collaboration with Google.
The first «smart home» from Apple
This spring, the company plans to launch a line of smart displays — speaker or wall-mounted devices that will be part of Apple’s new Smart Home ecosystem. It will eventually include smart cameras, all of which will be tightly integrated with Siri and the company’s AI platform.
Anniversary gadgets: from the iPhone 17e to the foldable iPhone 18
The most anticipated new product is the first foldable iPhone 18 Pro, which will abandon Qualcomm modems and receive its own Apple C2 chips. The company is also promoting the development of «smart glasses», the first prototypes of which are already being produced in Asia.
The OLED revolution in Mac
Apple is planning a large-scale screen upgrade: OLED displays will appear not only in the iPhone and iPad Pro, but also in the MacBook Air, iPad Air, and iPad mini.
The transition for the MacBook Pro is expected between late 2026 and 2027.
The company is also preparing updates to the Mac mini and Mac Studio with M5 chips, and in late 2026, the MacBook Pro with M6 Pro/M6 Max chips, a thinner body, and an OLED touchscreen.
As a reminder, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the company plans to integrate more third-party AI tools into its operating systems. Apple has already added ChatGPT to Siri and is rumored to be working on several more integrations.
Bloomberg previously revealed internal problems at Apple that led to delays in the development of Apple Intelligence and the failed launch of the updated Siri. The main reasons were management skepticism about investing in AI, internal conflicts, and technical difficulties in integrating new features into an outdated system.
