As for drone production, at least three major companies have announced joint production in Ukraine, and Germany’s Quantum-Systems even launched a plant in April last year. Sweden’s Saab and Turkey’s Baykar intend to do the same.
Large German ammunition manufacturer Rheinmetall intends to open three enterprises in Ukraine, NV.ua notes .
Northrop Grumman (USA), Sellier & Bellot (Czech Republic), AeroVironment (USA), D&M (USA) also intend to produce ammunition in Ukraine. The plant of the latter manufacturer is already operating in Ukraine, having opened in September last year.
Norwegian Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace intends to produce missiles for air defense systems in Ukraine.
As for maintenance and repair of equipment, the KNDS Deutschland company launched in January 2025, and Babcock from the United Kingdom has been operating in Ukraine since October 2023.
Artillery installations in Ukraine will be manufactured by BAE Systems from Great Britain, and this is the legendary M777 model.
As dev.ua wrote, the German manufacturer of robotic systems ARX Robotics also recently opened an office in Ukraine.
