Ride-hailing service Bolt has launched integration with ChatGPT. The new feature is available in all countries where the service operates, including Ukraine. From now on, users can plan a route directly in the chatbot, find out the approximate cost of the trip, and in one click go to the Bolt application for final order placement.
Ride-hailing service Bolt has launched integration with ChatGPT. The new feature is available in all countries where the service operates, including Ukraine. From now on, users can plan a route directly in the chatbot, find out the approximate cost of the trip, and in one click go to the Bolt application for final order placement.
As the company reports in its press release, it has become the first ride-hailing service to launch ChatGPT bookings simultaneously for users in Ukraine, the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway and Azerbaijan. In addition, this is the first time a service of this scale has launched ChatGPT integration globally, rather than in stages by country.
To use the new feature, simply install the plugin and then write in ChatGPT, for example: "Order me a Bolt to the Central Station" or "How much will the trip to the station cost?".
ChatGPT will show you an estimated cost, suggest route options, help you determine the most convenient pick-up location, and transfer the trip details to the Bolt app. All the user has to do is confirm the booking.
Currently, booking and payment are only done through the Bolt app. The company plans to add the ability to pay for rides directly in ChatGPT later this year. For now, the team is focused on improving the service with OpenAI App Integrations (Connectors).
