Google launches experimental AI tool Career Dreamer to help with job search
Google has announced the launch of a new tool, Career Dreamer, which uses artificial intelligence to find patterns between a job seeker’s experience, education, skills, and interests, and connect them with occupations that may be relevant.
Google has announced the launch of a new tool, Career Dreamer, which uses artificial intelligence to find patterns between a job seeker’s experience, education, skills, and interests, and connect them with occupations that may be relevant.
As TechCrunch reports, Career Dreamer uses AI to build «your career identity.» It involves selecting your current and previous roles, skills, experience, education, and interests. Google says you can add this career identity to your resume or use it as a guide for your interview questions.
Career Dreamer allows candidates to see a variety of careers that match their experience and interests through a visual network of opportunities. If a candidate is interested in a particular career, they can drill down to learn more about working in that field.
The tool also allows you to collaborate with Google’s Gemini AI assistant to practice your cover letter or resume and find more job ideas.
Unlike popular services like Indeed and LinkedIn, Career Dreamer doesn’t link to actual job openings. Instead, it’s designed to help you quickly research different careers without having to do a series of different Google searches.
Career Dreamer is currently only available as an experiment in the United States. It’s unclear when or if Google plans to expand the experiment to other countries, but many of the previous experimental features have since become available to a wider audience.
«We hope that Career Dreamer can be useful for all types of job seekers. During its development, we consulted with organizations that serve a wide range of individuals, such as students starting their careers, recent graduates entering the job market, adults seeking new opportunities, and military personnel, including military personnel transferring to another service, military spouses, and veterans,» Google notes.
A Reddit user previously revealed that he created an AI job search bot that he says helped him apply to 1,000 job openings while he slept. What happened next?
«I’ve already given up beer every Friday, I smoke half a cigarette at a time, and I hide the rest for later.» Recruiter shares unusual experience communicating with a candidate in a «sluggish» job search
Як нейромережі бачать вільну та незалежну Україну? Тест dev.ua
