"The developer of Reserve+ has been in Bali for a year." The CEO of Strimko explained what is true and what is not in the information about his vacation abroad and what his reasons were for leaving

CEO of govtech company Strimco Roman Lansky commented on the hate in Telegram channels and other media surrounding information about his vacation in Bali.
On his Facebook page, Lansky confirmed that he had indeed traveled abroad in April, where he was on vacation for two weeks.
«There are already versions floating around that I went and live in Bali, there were versions that I’ve been traveling for a year… And I was only in Bali for 1.5 weeks and a couple of days in Europe,» Lansky noted in his post.
At the same time, CEO Strimco also stated that not everyone in Ukrainian society has the opportunity to relax now, so he can understand the emotions on social networks. «I have to be more attentive to the context around me, I have drawn conclusions,» Lansky wrote.
He also explained that he was not booked, but had the right to leave due to a lifelong disability.
«In 1996, when I was a year old, I was diagnosed with a disability because of my syndactyly, which is when a person’s fingers are fused together. So from the ages of six to eight, I had a series of surgeries to allow my hand to grow,» Lansky added, explaining that these health issues led to others, including a curvature of the chest and breathing problems.
Roman Lansky also focused on the fact that the media and Telegram channels distorted information about his participation in the development of the «Reserve+» application.
«I am not a „developer“ (in the sense of a developer) and even more so not a „chief developer“ of „Reserve+“, and not a „co-founder“ so precisely that it does not matter. Strimco is doing analytics on how to redesign the business processes of services, in particular, deferrals, referrals to VLK (again, I have personal experience here), a service with vacancies and a few more. But we are not a classic developer in the sense of writing code, we do not have access to databases, we do not manage the system,» he explained.
As for the «Oberig» registry, Lansky emphasized that his company worked on the registry in terms of business analysis and integrations for services in the application, but did not develop the registry itself.
«There are a lot of problems with registries, especially basic ones. We simply don’t have one place where information about all the people in the country is stored.» Strimco CEO Roman Lanskyy — about the «kitchen» of Ukrainian govtech
«If you look at European budgets, we are like a children’s sandbox in comparison. And there is a sand pit.» Strimco CEO told how much funding was lost through USAID and whether Europeans will continue to provide funds
