The new features will help control spending and track limits as the active use of AI tools by “power users” in companies leads to a rapid increase in budgets, Reuters reports .
OpenAI announced that their dashboard for corporate customers will provide a complete picture of ChatGPT and Codex credit usage.
Administrators will now be able to see a detailed report on resource consumption by individual users, different products, and specific AI models.
The new updates will allow organizations to track platform usage trends over time, as well as identify the most active users and new patterns of AI usage.
Account managers can now set a default credit limit for the entire workspace.
To help companies better control AI spending, customers can also set specific limits for different groups within the organization and make individual exceptions for employees who need more AI power.
OpenAI added that the new tools will allow employees to independently check their credit balance and request additional limits, justifying their need.
Corporate customers can start using new analytics and updated cost control tools starting June 18.
