As Anthropic reports on its official blog, the new connectors allow Claude to access internal application data and perform complex sequences of actions based on a text query.
The integration functionality is tailored to the specifics of each environment. For example, the connector for Adobe allows Claude to use Photoshop, Premiere, and Express to iteratively improve designs: the user can ask the AI to change the composition of a frame or adapt the color scheme of the project to a certain mood. In the case of the music software Ableton and the Splice service, the chatbot not only helps to search for samples, but also acts as an interactive tutor, explaining synthesis techniques or helping to understand signal routing, relying on official documentation.
The most deeply integrated is Blender, a popular open-source 3D modeling package. With the Claude connector, it offers a natural language interface to the Python API of the application. This means that 3D artists can use the chatbot to analyze and debug entire scenes, write scripts to batch process objects, or create new procedural tools directly in the Blender interface. The AI takes over the technically complex parts of the creative process, such as setting up the wireframe of a project or applying changes to thousands of small details of a scene at once.
«Claude cannot replace taste or imagination, but it can open up new ways of working — faster and more ambitious idea generation, a broader skill set, and the ability for creatives to take on larger projects,» Anthropic said.
The company emphasizes that automating repetitive production tasks will allow artists to focus on the conceptual component, eliminating the routine and need for manually renaming layers or converting formats between different applications.
Anthropic believes that using Claude can allow professionals to more efficiently synchronize resources between 3D, audio and design, avoiding errors during manual data transfer. Similar steps were previously taken by ChatGPT developers, but Anthropic is betting on the open MCP protocol, which in the future can unite all creative tools into a single ecosystem driven by artificial intelligence.
Anthropic previously made Claude Design, a tool that allows you to create visuals through dialogue with AI without the need for separate design software, available in research preview for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise users. The service runs on Claude Opus 4.7.
