Delivery to villages at city prices. Ukrposhta cancels surcharge of 45 hryvnias
From July 1, 2026, Ukrposhta will cancel the additional fee of 45 hryvnia for delivering parcels to rural areas. At the same time, the company is slightly increasing the cost of courier delivery due to rising fuel prices.
From July 1, 2026, Ukrposhta will cancel the additional fee of 45 hryvnia for delivering parcels to rural areas. At the same time, the company is slightly increasing the cost of courier delivery due to rising fuel prices.
The company's CEO, Igor Smilyansky, announced the change in tariffs. According to him, from now on, the cost of delivery to villages where there are Ukrposhta branches or mobile points will be equal to the city tariff. Delivery to post offices will also remain without additional fees.
"We are doing everything we can to ensure that our clients in villages have the same opportunities and services as city residents," said Smilyansky, adding that this decision is a step forward for Ukrainian business.
At the same time, the cost of courier delivery from Ukrposhta will increase by 5 hryvnias due to the increase in fuel prices. The updated tariff will be 50 hryvnias and will be the same for both cities and villages, which, according to the company, makes it the most affordable on the market.
As a reminder, Ihor Smilyansky recently found himself at the center of a high-profile scandal. The National Bank of Ukraine recognized him as not meeting the requirements for professional suitability and ordered the company to remove the CEO. Smilyansky sharply commented on this decision , accusing NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshny of settling personal accounts through an attempt to create a postal bank, and declared his readiness to engage lawyers to defend him in court.
