Two Ukrainian miltech companies, DevDroid and Rovertech, have created a new ground robotic complex. The Zmiy Droid 12.7 reconnaissance and strike vehicle combines Rovertech’s Zmiy platform and DevDroid’s Wolly 12.7 combat module.
Two Ukrainian miltech companies, DevDroid and Rovertech, have created a new ground robotic complex. The Zmiy Droid 12.7 reconnaissance and strike vehicle combines Rovertech’s Zmiy platform and DevDroid’s Wolly 12.7 combat module.
As the developers note in a press release, the new NRC has armor and protection against anti-personnel mines and is capable of withstanding multiple hits from enemy FPVs.
Among the features of Zmiy Droid are:

Thanks to this product, Zmiy Droid 12.7 is equipped with AI elements, as well as understandable functionality that allows you to control the mobile platform and combat module both simultaneously and separately,» the company notes.
The new NRC is already ready for combat use and is in the process of codification. Previously, DevDroid integrated its own combat module Wolly 12.7 onto the NRC «Ravlyk», which created the new Droid Raw 12.7 complex, as well as onto the TerMIT platform from Tencore .
DevDroid was founded in 2023 and specializes in the production of remotely controlled combat modules and robotic platforms using artificial intelligence elements. The company is best known for the production of remotely controlled robotic turrets «THP» and Wolly.
Rovertech produces ground robotic complexes for demining and logistics: «Zmiy», «Zmiy Logistichy» and «Zhuravel». Parts for them are manufactured at Ukrainian factories.
