The online academy for IT professions Mate academy has launched a free course until April 1 to teach memeology.
«If it used to be enough to do your job well, today you also need to be able to drop a well-aimed meme into a general chat and get positive reactions from your colleagues,» Mate academy believes. That is why, to support the trend of new communication using memes and humor, the educational institution has opened a course on memeology.
The module will focus on corporate humor and will be suitable for beginners in the world of memes. The program was developed by Mate academy SMM manager, ex-Vector, Polina Rusakova, with the help of instructional designers.
The curriculum will include:
- Introduction to memeology.
- An analysis of three whales of corporate humor and memes about the most popular professions in IT.
- A practical task to create your own meme, only under this condition will the training be considered successfully completed.
The training will be available online on the Mate academy LMS platform from April 1 to April 7 inclusive. The module is then planned to be integrated into the SMM course, which will soon be released at the academy.
