Dnipro Campfire Studio, known for the My Dream Setup project about building a dream room, is developing its new game Dream Garden. After a number of projects in different genres, the developers returned to the one that brought them the greatest success.
Campfire Studio is a small but extremely productive indie studio. When dev.ua spoke with the developers in the summer of 2023, they had already released 3 games in 15 months. Since then, they have managed to release another project — Arcane Blast, a roguelike-action about magical cats with co-op for up to four players, as well as several DLCs for My Dream Setup.
The latter remains the studio’s most successful project. According to SteamDB, My Dream Setup has been purchased by approximately 100,000 to 200,000 players, and the project has over 3,000 reviews on Steam.
Campfire Studio’s follow-up games, Catch & Cook: Fishing Adventure and Arcane Blast, had much more modest numbers, with 30-40 reviews on Steam and roughly 1,000-3,000 copies sold.
Now Ukrainian developers are working on Dream Garden. Like My Dream Setup, it’s a simulation game about creating cozy dioramas. Only this time, instead of a dream room, there is a small, cute Zen garden.

«Do you want to relax a little and immerse yourself in creating a cozy garden? In Dream Garden, you can create any kind of garden: a classic Japanese Zen garden or a garden with a pond, fish and lilies — it all depends on you,» Campfire Studio describes the project.
Players will be able to choose from a wide array of tools, plants, decorations and settings to create the garden of their dreams. Changing the landscape, adding rivers or lakes, hills, sand or pebbles will also be available to them.
«We did everything so that you can feel the atmosphere and imagine that you are creating this garden not sitting at the computer, but sitting in front of it live and placing the scenery yourself, and all this to the background of handmade music, which adds a pleasant atmosphere.» — developers say.
Dream Garden is scheduled for release in 2025. The project already has a page on Steam, where you can add it to the wish list.
