Anthropic is adding a new feature to its Claude AI chatbot that lets you build AI apps right inside it. The company says you just need to describe what you want to create and Claude will write the code.
The update is still in beta and is based on the Artifacts feature, which allows you to see and interact with what you ask Claude to do.
“Start creating in the Claude app by enabling this new interactive feature,” the company blog says . “Simply describe what you want to create and Claude will write the code for you.” It’s essentially like vibecoding, but with the ability to see the results right inside the chatbot.
The company showed how it works in a video.
Early adopters of this feature have created AI-based games, educational tools, data analysis applications, and various assistants, the company says.
“As you work together, Claude can debug and improve his code based on your feedback. Once your app is ready, you can instantly share it with a link—no deployment process required. Claude takes care of the technical details like agile development, error handling, and orchestration logic, allowing you to fully focus on bringing your idea to life,” Anthropic notes.
Applications will be able to interact with Claude via an API. This feature is available in Anthropic Free, Pro, and Max tiers.
