accounting directly in Notes — I searched for the NBU rate manually, calculated taxes on a calculator. It was especially difficult to calculate the increasing amounts later, I could miss something, and I had to check everything again. I decided to do
"an application that calculates all this itself," says Kharenko.
In FOP Finance, the user simply needs to add their income. If it is in a foreign currency, the application will automatically adjust the NBU exchange rate on the payment date. After that, you can immediately see how much you need to set aside for the single tax, military levy, and social security contributions.
Income and expenses can be divided by companies or clients, and taxes can be viewed both separately for each of them and as a total amount. The application also has a payment archive and the ability to generate financial reports for a month, quarter, year, or your own period.
The developer has placed a special emphasis on privacy. FOP Finance does not require you to create an online account, and financial data is stored locally on your smartphone. The description in the App Store also states that the application does not have its own server, does not collect analytics, and does not display advertising.
FOP Finance is now available for free in the App Store for iPhone.
Kharenko also plans to add the ability to attach invoices or payment confirmations to payments. He also plans an optional online subscription account, a synchronized web cabinet, and possibly invoice generation directly in the application.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that Ukrainian IT companies and individual entrepreneurs paid over UAH 30 billion in taxes in the first half of 2026 - about a quarter more than in the same period last year.
