The Foxtrot electronics and home appliance store chain has recorded an unprecedented surge in demand for Sicilian Lemon salad bowls.
In just one day, on October 16, Ukrainians bought up over 400 sets, turning ordinary tableware into a real bestseller.
The reason for the sudden popularity was monobank's interactive marketing campaign " Hunting for Lemons ", launched in honor of the bank reaching the mark of 10 million customers. One of the "secret lemons" of the campaign turned out to be hidden in the monomarket in the tableware category from the seller "Foxtrot".
As a result, the set of "Sicilian Lemon" salad bowls completely sold out of the retailer's warehouse in a day, and buyers have already managed to christen it the new "fish cups" of our time.
“We watched demand grow hourly. This case once again showed: one bright idea can make even an ordinary salad bowl a hit. The monobank team managed to create a real marketing “lemon effect,” commented Oleg Nikolsky, Marketing Director of Foxtrot.
Despite being completely sold out, the Sicilian Lemon set continues to participate in the monobank promotion. Foxtrot predicts that thanks to the success of this campaign, demand for bright and unusual tableware among Ukrainians will remain high in the future.
Meanwhile, we wrote that Oleg Gorohovskyi suggested how to find the 51st lemon in the neobank application.
As a reminder, the company is giving away a BMW 3, 100 iPhone 17s, and other prizes to celebrate reaching 10 million users. To do this, you need to collect lemons in the app.
The rules are very simple: whoever collects 10 lemons will participate in the draw for 100 iPhone 17s.
