As a reminder, on November 19, 2026, Rockstar Games will release Grand Theft Auto VI, one of the most anticipated games of recent years. The Standard Edition will cost $79.99, and the Premium Edition will cost $99.99. The game takes place in the fictional state of Leonidas, inspired by Florida, with the main location being a revamped Vice City. The main characters are Lucia Caminos and Jason Duvall, and the plot promises to be a satire on the modern world of social networks and the cult of influencers.
Analysts compared the cost of the game with the average net hourly wage in different European countries. This way they determined how many hours you would need to work to earn money for the standard version of GTA VI.
The best situation is in Luxembourg. Western and Northern European countries also show low indicators due to high salaries:

According to calculations, the average Ukrainian needs to work 31.12 hours to buy the standard edition of the game.
That’s almost 19 times longer than a Luxembourger would need to work about four full eight-hour workdays, the worst result of any European country studied.
In Ukraine, the basic version of the game costs UAH 3,499, and the premium edition costs UAH 4,299. Pre- orders are already open for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S. The PC version will be released later.
