Today is Yuri Mironenko’s last day as head of the State Intelligence Service, which he assumed a year ago. He announced the changes in the department’s Telegram channel.
Among the main tasks, which, according to him, the government official fulfilled, more than 1.1 million drones were delivered to the security and defense forces, more than 1.3 million were purchased. In addition, a number of anti-corruption measures were implemented:
- the procurement of Maviks, Autels, Matrixes was transferred to the closed «Prozorro» module and tender procedures for the purchase of FPV drones were introduced, thanks to which it was possible to reach record low prices,
- an internal supply chain team has been created to investigate drone pricing,
- interaction with NABU and BEB, which verify each contract, has been introduced
independent anti-corruption journalists were involved in price monitoring
the amount of previously concluded contracts for the purchase of drones for UAH 4.5 billion was revised.
The ex-head of the State Intelligence Service is moving to the Ministry of Digital Affairs. In response to dev.ua’s question, the ministry informed that they will be able to comment on his duties and role in the ministry after the official appointment of Yury Mironenko to the position of the Ministry of Statistics.
As Taras Melnychuk, the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, reported on his Telegram channel, Myronenko was dismissed, and Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Potiya was appointed in his place.
