«We expect that development teams will become smaller, and artificial intelligence will automate work and eventually force our industry to reinvent itself. We are currently reviewing our „people — processes — tools“ model. And I think that testing specialists, especially manual ones, will be the ones who will gradually exit the market. There is also an opinion that the acceleration of development will lead to a significant increase in the number of digital applications. And this, in turn, will require more people,» he said in an interview with NV.
According to Kitsmey, artificial intelligence significantly improves and speeds up software development. «On the other hand, when artificial intelligence generates code, no one knows where this code came from. Because AI always takes this code from somewhere, „bites it“. Many customers worry about whether intellectual property rights will be violated,» he added.
Kitsmey recalled that in January of this year, the World Economic Forum published a new study, Future of Jobs 2025, which predicts that 92 million jobs in various professions will disappear, but there will be a need for 170 million new ones.
