Number porting to lifecell is working again - the state database has resumed work
On December 23, the Centralized Database of Ported Numbers (CDB) resumed its work. On December 20, the Ukrainian State Center for Radio Frequencies (UDCR) conducted technical work to increase the capacity of systems involved in processing applications from subscribers changing operators. This was due to the abnormally high demand for porting numbers to the lifecell network in December, which significantly exceeded the technical capabilities of the Centralized Database.

This was due to the abnormally high demand for porting numbers to the lifecell network in December, which significantly exceeded the technical capabilities of the Centralized Database.
Over the past week, lifecell has recorded a significant increase in the number of applications for porting numbers to the operator than usual, and the number of visitors to the company’s stores who, in particular, intended to port their number to lifecell has increased several times. In particular, on December 20-22 alone, about 13 thousand subscribers contacted the operator, expressing a desire to port their number to lifecell.
A possible reason for the increased demand is the promotional offer «STOP PRICE» from lifecell, which allows you to fix the price of 4-week service packages of promotional tariff plans («Free Life» or «Powerful») until the end of 2025.
What are the conditions of the «STOP price» promotion?
Under the terms of the «STOP PRICE» promotion, subscribers who port their number to the lifecell network between December 2, 2024 and January 31, 2025 (inclusive) will be able to fix the cost of the promotional tariff plan until the end of 2025.
To participate in the promotion you need to:
Port your number to the lifecell network using the MNP service during the promotion period.
Choose a tariff plan that participates in the «STOP PRICE» promotion.
For example, the national tariff «Free Life» for only 180 UAH/4 weeks (when porting a number), which offers unlimited internet and 1600 minutes to all numbers, and after their use — unlimited calls on the lifecell network.
The price of the tariff plan will be fixed on the date of number porting.

Despite the high demand, number porting is currently working. Applications for number porting to lifecell are accepted in stores or on the operator’s website online .
