Techosystem
Techosystem is a public association that unites startups, scaleups, venture funds, and industry experts, creating an ecosystem for the innovative development of Ukraine. The organization has over 100 members and supports technology companies at all stages of their growth.
The association operates on the principles of transparency and democracy, working through product verticals and strategic directions. The association is non-profit and operates at the expense of membership fees, as well as support from donors and partners. All resources raised are directed to expanding the ecosystem, developing innovations and integrating Ukrainian companies into the international market.
Maksym Bakhmatov will replace Kateryna Grechko as CEO.
“It was an honor for me to be involved in the creation of Techosystem in the summer of 2022, to lead and develop the association for 2.5 years. During this time, we were able to create an organization from scratch during the war, with limited resources, and bring it to the level of one of the leading technology associations in Ukraine. It was a challenging, incredibly interesting path: in 2023 and 2024, the association twice won the ecosystem award “Association of the Year”, the community grew to over 100 members, the team grew to 13 people, the Board was democratically elected twice, more than 20 important local and international partnerships were established, and over 70 projects were implemented. The selection process for the new CEO was very thorough. I wish Maksym success in his new role, and I hope that his experience in management and business will contribute to the further development of the organization. Now the association is entering a new level with unprecedented challenges and prospects. For me, this is a moment of further personal growth and a time to focus on a new stage of life and the role of a mother,” shared Kateryna Grechko, former CEO of the Techosystem union.
"I am pleased to welcome Maksym to the position of CEO of Techosystem. Our organization is entering a qualitatively new level of development - over the past year we have achieved significant growth and are now setting even more ambitious goals. The team is set to make a breakthrough both within our association and across the entire industry. One of the key tasks for the next two years is to significantly improve Ukraine's position in the global startup ecosystem ranking. We aim to enter the top 30 countries in 2026 - this is a good challenge for an effective team!", - notes Oleksandr Yatsenko, Chairman of the Techosystem association.
Techosystem CEO Selection Process
Techosystem turned to A-Players after a competition among recruiting agencies in Ukraine, choosing a partner with expertise in A-method recruitment. The search for a new CEO was carried out by a team of headhunters, and the selection process was successfully completed in a record two months, which is twice as fast as the average market period.
Out of 153 candidates selected by A-Players, Techosystem interviewed only five finalists, which saved time and allowed it to focus on strategic goals. As a result, Maksym Bakhmatov was selected as the new CEO.

Techosystem development vision
In his new position, Maksym Bakhmatov intends to strengthen the organization's regional development, increase the number of participants, and improve the quality of interaction within the community. He also plans to:

To expand the influence of the union by opening representative offices in such cities of Ukraine as Lviv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Dnipro and Rivne.
Launching new clusters and committees to strengthen cooperation between participants.
"Techosystem is a platform for stimulating the development of the Ukrainian technology industry. Our development vector is to increase the number of participants and improve the quality of cooperation. We need to look to the regions, create new representative offices, including international ones, and develop physical space for the ecosystem. This is a necessary step, because the ecosystem must have a place for growth, development, and unification of people. My goal is to create conditions for the sustainable development of startups that will become the basis of the country's future economy," said Maksym Bakhmatov.
