«I was reduced. I said this a month ago, and now I notice such a trend in the Ukrainian market. I want to share how I experienced it. It will be useful for those who find themselves/may find themselves in a similar situation,» she said .
At first, according to Miroslava, it was very difficult. «I cried in the office (for the first time). Before that, I was not going to leave the company, I had a new position being formed and my status in Slack was about to change. It’s good that I have friends-colleagues who supported me and my girlfriends, who were also laid off,» she said.
Sticking to a handful is the main advice from Myroslava. «I went to the office every day for the last two weeks, said goodbye to people, drank the last matches and completed tasks. Really LIVE the moment. Then came the realization that this misfortune is an opportunity. I was laid off NOT because of my performance, the answer to the question: „Why are you looking for a project?“ is obvious. I have time to take on new challenges, and after my experience in a great company, they want to hire me (it’s very nice in general),» said the specialist.
She added some practical advice for those who may find themselves in a similar situation, because many companies in Ukraine are currently laying off specialists.
