Djinni notes that candidates' salary expectations are lowered more often than their salary expectations are raised, 25% versus 16%, and another 5% of professionals used both methods, depending on the vacancy.
The most negative share of candidates who reduced their salary for the vacancy were in the following categories: Fullstack (30%), JavaScript (29%), Python (28%), Design (28%), and Project Managers (28%). The average change is minus 10% of the salary in the candidate profile.
Data analysts are the least likely to see adjustments affecting their financial compensation. Recruiters and Support Specialists are the most affected, with their final salaries reduced by 16% and 17%, respectively.

Overall, recruiters have become more careful in selecting potential employees, although they emphasize that the market still allows candidates to choose between several companies at once.
In 2024, it took a candidate 4 to 6 weeks to get hired. This is an improvement over 2023, where the average time was 5.5 to 7 weeks.
