Meta has released two new AI models — Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full — that can independently perform complex tasks, interact with the browser and applications, and remember important details from previous conversations. The company calls them its strongest models yet, and says they can compete with the best of OpenAI and Anthropic.

To show what Muse Wonder is capable of, the developers gave her a few different tasks. For example, the model created a 3D kitchen game based on images provided to her.
And in another task, the model worked with a browser and various applications to create an individual running plan based on the user's wishes.
Meta also demonstrated how an agent could help with personalized gift selection or create a seating chart for guests at a wedding, the latter of which required taking into account multiple, potentially conflicting, conditions at once.
The company also highlights the models’ programming capabilities. They can work with large code bases, modify multiple files, verify results, and revert to fixes.
One of the main features of the models in Meta is called Active Memory. It allows the AI to find in memory exactly those details that will be needed for the current task. Another technology, Active Focus, helps the AI not to stop after the first failure. If the chosen method does not work, the model can try another, deal with the error and continue working. However, before important actions, it must clarify the user's intentions.
Meta claims that both new products show some of the best results in tests of AI agent performance, memory and programming. In particular, the company tested how well the models can work on large software projects, complete business tasks from start to finish and find the right details in a long history of communication.
Separately, the developers paid attention to the models' ability to cope with unfamiliar tasks. According to Meta's internal research, Muse Wonder Full transfers acquired skills to new situations better than one would expect based on the results of the previous Muse Spark 1.3.
Muse Wonder is already available through the Meta Model API or the Muse Code tool. The more powerful Muse Wonder Full is currently available to Muse Code subscribers. Over time, Muse Wonder will also be integrated into the Muse personal AI assistant. Subscribers will be the first to receive the new features.
Meta calls this launch another step towards "personal superintelligence" - AI that can perform everyday and professional tasks for the user.
Previously, dev.uawrote that Meta has opened the code of tools that allow developers to "populate" the Muse AI agent in their own gadgets.
