«What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever been turned down for?» she asked.
Tetyana herself said that the strangest thing for her was receiving two rejections at the same time for very similar vacancies in two companies in the same industry.
«In one rejection during a good and productive conversation with a recruiter, I was told that I was too mature and highly qualified for the role. According to the results of another, under similar conditions, I was recognized as not sufficiently senior and experienced for this company. Cognitive dissonance occurred. I thought for a long time: which ones should I choose: smart and qualified or not mature enough and senior,» the specialist shared.
