Information about the lifting of speed restrictions for the military version of Starlink in Ukraine is not true. This was stated by an expert in military radio technologies and advisor to the Minister of Digital Transformation, Sergey "Flash" Beskrestnov, commenting on recent statements by US President Donald Trump that Elon Musk has allegedly already lifted all limits for Ukrainian terminals. The Ministry of Defense reports that they continue to record loss of communication at speeds above 161 km/h.

The Ministry of Defense reports that they continue to record loss of communication at speeds above 161 km/h.
According to his "Flash", the Ukrainian side is currently not observing any systemic changes in the operation of the satellite network.
"Currently, we are not recording the lifting of restrictions in Starlink. There are individual cases when terminals may move slightly faster than the established limits, but this is likely the result of the operation of SpaceX algorithms or special conditions of use, and not an official lifting of restrictions," Beskrestnov explained .
The data on the absence of changes is also confirmed by the defense department. As Forbes Ukraine reports , citing sources in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military continues to record the loss of communication of the special military version of the Starlink satellite system — Starshield — when objects move at a speed of more than 161 km/h. There is no confirmation of the abolition of these limits in databases or in practice.
Recall, the day before, Donald Trump said that SpaceX had allegedly already lifted the speed limit for Starshield terminals used in Ukraine.
