This was stated by Oleksandr Kulepin, Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Office for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization (CDTO), in an interview with the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
According to the official, most of the tasks in the field of digitalization at the regional level now consist not of "visionary", but of clearly fulfilling the basic tasks of the government and automating routine. AI agents can completely take over the process of generating ideas, developing strategies, setting priorities and preparing target programs.
"Many positions in the future may be transformed into AI agents, while humans will only have the function of critical assessment and final approval: to launch a project or not. If AI closes the conditional 90% of tasks, the question will inevitably arise: is it advisable to keep a person who is only responsible for the remaining 10%," said Oleksandr Kulepin.
The official shared that he is already using algorithms to quickly analyze new laws and government regulations. Thanks to the regulations and provisions of the OVA uploaded to the system, artificial intelligence determines in a matter of seconds which departments are responsible for implementing the new regulations and by what deadline.
The next step in the Lviv Regional Administrative Organization is to use AI to automate the reporting in the centralized accounting department, which serves educational institutions and operates budgets worth billions of hryvnias. Typically, employees spend days manually compiling data from the 73 communities of the region, while algorithms can do it instantly.
