A Russian strike on the Ukrainian capital on September 8 damaged one of the workspaces of a large Ukrainian IT product company, Genesis. No employees were injured.
The company's press service reported the incident on its official Instagram page.
Genesis representatives do not specify the location and nature of the damage, but emphasize that the consequences of the attack are not fatal for the operational infrastructure. The situation is currently fully under control.
"Tonight, as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv, one of our offices was damaged. Fortunately, there were no injuries. Our technical service team quickly inspected the building and eliminated the consequences - no critical damage was found," the official statement said. The team also assured that everything was fine with them, and urged citizens to take care of themselves.
Genesis was not the only representative of the domestic technology sector whose space was hit during a massive Russian missile attack on the night of September 8. Earlier it became known that as a result of the same shelling , an office center in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, where the IT company Maklai is based, was damaged . A powerful blast wave broke out some of the windows on the lower and middle floors of the building, and in the IT workers' office itself, the frames were deformed and part of the ceiling collapsed. In both cases, there were no casualties.
