The organizers of the Indie Cup festival, dedicated to Ukrainian indie games and their developers, will announce the nominees of the third season. From among 63 participants, the jury selected 18 best games that will compete for victory in 4 nominations.

The judges' favorite was Awita: Journey of Hope, a picturesque pixel metroidvania about a brave girl saving her town from an epidemic. The game of 16-year-old developer Vadim (known as ant_game_dev), nominated for only one award last year, made it to the finals in all four nominations of the competition, the press release notes. Awita is followed by three-time nominees Floralis from SolidCore Games, Fight Life: Vanguard (StartImpulse, Two Cakes Studio) and Delusion Out of Space (Unicore).

Creators' Choice Award, where the winner is chosen by content creators: Floralis, Missi, Anima Keeper, Awita: Journey of Hope, Delusion Out of Space, Fight Life: Vanguard, I Want to Believe, Catfall, Back to Hearth, Hoglands.
«Among the jury of Indie Cup Ukraine'24 are experts from CD Projekt RED, Red Beat, Remedy Entertainment, Bloober Team, ZA/UM and other companies, as well as game journalists, vloggers and independent developers. The jury of this year’s festival included a total of 80 experts from the game industry,» the organizers of the event note.
Winners in all categories will be announced on December 24, 2024. This year’s Indie Cup Ukraine became the third season of the festival exclusively for Ukrainian developers.
The Palaye team has been organizing the Indie Cup since 2016, giving independent developers a free platform to promote their projects. Our other goal is the integration of the independent game development community of Ukraine into the European cultural space; Ukrainian games are evaluated not only by the Ukrainian jury, but also by professionals from all over the world. Separate seasons of Indie Cup Ukraine are held from 2022.

The company noted that the rebranding should emphasize that all these projects are done by one team.
