GSG Gamer World has released patch 1.2, which features over 1,700 performance, balance, location, quest, and crash fixes, as well as new features for the A-Life 2.0 system and monster skills.
GSG Gamer World has released patch 1.2, which features over 1,700 performance, balance, location, quest, and crash fixes, as well as new features for the A-Life 2.0 system and monster skills.
In particular, the developers have fixed bugs in the character’s artificial intelligence, which prevented NPCs from interacting properly with corpses. Now they can pick up the best loot from them, as well as change their weapons to more powerful ones.
This feature was present in previous installments of the game, and players noted that it was missing from STALKER 2's A-Life system. They noted that the update brings a number of improvements to the system, but the Zone still «lives» within a 100-meter bubble around the player.

Additionally, NPC shooting accuracy, stealth mechanics, and mutant behavior in combat have been improved, and the Controller has gained a new ability — roar.
The developers have also made changes to the game’s balance, including that it now takes fewer shots to kill a phantom pseudo-dog NPC, the frequency of NPCs spawning in exoskeletons has been reduced — now regular stalkers will wear regular armor more often. Players have the ability to trade with additional NPCs in hubs, and the headlamp now casts shadows on objects.
