In particular, in 2024, 163 companies joined the Diia.City Union residents' association, including startups and large businesses from various industries (fintech, defense, gaming, health tech, etc.), as well as the first Ukrainian unicorn — Grammarly, the union reported to dev.ua.
«We have actively expanded our network of partners, which includes leading legal and auditing companies (Juscutum, Sayenko Kharenko, Mazars, Asters, Crowe, Kreston, OMP), which provide support to Diia.City Union participants,» the statement noted. The Union has also launched strategic partnerships with international companies, such as IBM, Cisco, Dragon Capital, which strengthen Diia.City Union initiatives and capabilities.
Since GR is the basis of the union’s activities, the participants created a number of working groups and held closed meetings with Ministries and Embassies to consolidate the forces of the IT business and the state.
Also in 2024, a number of large-scale events were held, including the Tech Ecosystem Summit, Ukraine Tech Conference jointly with EVA, Annual Gathering with the participation of Valeriy Zaluzhny and relevant ministries, CEO Talks with the heads of large Ukrainian companies — Oleksandr Komarov («Kyivstar»), Taras Panasenko («Aurora»), Vyacheslav Klymov («Nova Poshta»).
We will remind, in mid-February 2022 it became known that some of the Ukrainian IT companies that entered the special tax regime «Diya City» created their own organization. In particular, the first IT companies to create the union were Sigma Software, EPAM, NIX, SoftServe and Altexsoft.
