According to the fund, the total investment volume in 2024 amounted to $462 million, which is 120% more than in 2023, when it amounted to $209 million.
«The tech industry is halfway to its 2021 peak, but there’s more to come,» commented AVentures Capital.
In 2023, the decline in investment in the IT sector slowed significantly to 11% compared to last year. In 2021, the investment volume was $832 million, in 2022 there was a sharp decline to $236 million, in 2023 — $209 million.
The fund’s report also notes the boom in defense technology, with $59 million in grants and direct investments raised by new startups and venture funds focused on miltech.
Forbes Ukraine, which received access to the report, writes that the largest funding round in 2024 was an investment in the CRM platform Creatio — $200 million. Fintech startup Carmoola raised $19.2 million, and real estate sales and rental platform Jome (NewHomesMate) received $9.8 million. Financial management service IN1 raised $6 million. Neobank developer Fintech Farm received $5 million.
It is also noted that the largest funding was attracted by the developer of an artificial intelligence system for protection against information threats Osavul ($3 million), the drone swarm management service Swarmer ($2.7 million), and the developer of navigation systems for drones Bavovna.AI ($2.7 million) .
The Brave1 cluster provided the largest number of grants in 2024 — $40 million. In 2025, Brave1 expects to increase this figure to $100 million.
