A Reddit user shared a find on Djinni — a job posting for a Juniper developer at an Odessa-based food company. It appeared on the site on August 20 and in just 24 hours has garnered over 240 views and 64 reviews.
The vacancy was published by Cappi, a Ukrainian food company and food delivery network that is developing its own IT infrastructure and actively implementing AI in business processes. The head office is located in Odessa.
The company itself describes itself as follows: “We are a multi-product IT company that develops its own technology products for HoReCa and retail. Our solutions help businesses automate operational processes using modern AI technologies.” The team is currently working on two main areas: a service for digitizing customer experience and working with feedback, as well as a platform for customer lifecycle management (CRM/CLM).
Who are they looking for?
We are looking for a Junior IT Developer (vibe-coder) who wants to develop in product and AI automation. The job involves a position in a team with an experienced developer and Product Manager.
The main caveat: the company programs exclusively through AI agents. Therefore, the candidate is required not to write kilometers of code manually, but to correctly formulate tasks for artificial intelligence, test the result, and bring it to a working state.
Responsibilities and requirements
The responsibilities of the future employee include:
implementation and support of functionality in products, finding and fixing errors;
creating internal tools and integrations;
setting technical and product tasks for AI agents in Claude Code, Codex and other tools;
independent testing of developed solutions before release.
Among the requirements for the candidate: a basic understanding of development principles, willingness to actively use AI, systems thinking, attention to detail, and proficiency in English at level A2 (Ukrainian — C2).
How the work is structured and what they offer
The processes are organized through Trello, where task statuses and priorities are tracked.
"Tasks of various levels: from small improvements to independent implementation of a separate product module. We do not expect you to be able to do everything on your own from day one - we expect quick learning, initiative, and a desire to grow with the products," the company notes.
The company offers a salary of $500 to $700, a hybrid work schedule (for the adaptation period - 3 days in the office in Odessa and 2 days remotely), although candidates from other cities are also considered for a full "remote" format.
