Osavul is a Ukrainian-based company headquartered in Luxembourg. Founded by Dmytro Pleshakov and Dmytro Bilash, the AI-powered platform analyzes information, cyber, and physical threats to detect signs of potential attacks before they are implemented.

According to the company, its technologies are used by NATO, government and defense organizations in more than 10 countries. After the latest investment round, Osavul’s total funding has reached approximately €12 million.

The company told DOU about this. In October 2026, Osavul raised 8.5 million euros in a Series A round. After that, the startup intensified its hiring. In the second half of 2026, 18 specialists have already joined the team. For comparison: before the expansion, the company employed about 40 people.

A significant portion of the new positions have been created in business development and marketing. These specialists are expected to help Osavul enter new markets. At the same time, the company is expanding its R&D team.

Open technical positions include Head of AI, Data Engineer, DevOps Engineer, AI Engineer, Solutions Architect, and QA Engineer. You can view them on DOU .

The company says that the most difficult to fill positions that require highly specialized technical skills. In particular, Osavul is looking for a data engineer and an AI engineer with experience in data fusion — combining different types of data, including geospatial and multimodal data. Knowledge of knowledge graphs and ontologies is also required. “Engineers with real practical experience in these areas are few on the market,” the company noted.

Another position Osavul is looking for is a Forward Deployed Engineer. This is a specialist who understands information and hybrid threats and is able to apply technologies, including AI, to detect and analyze them. According to the company, there are also few such specialists with the necessary combination of competencies on the market.

Working conditions at Osavul

During selection, the company evaluates not only the technical skills of candidates, but also their willingness to work in a startup: to make decisions independently, take responsibility, and quickly adapt to changes.

The hiring process usually involves several interviews and, for certain positions, test tasks.

The team works entirely remotely. Osavul pays employees for coworking space when needed. Other benefits include unlimited vacation and an individual budget for professional development.

What will Osavul invest in?

After raising Series A, the company focused on entering new markets and increasing the number of projects. In particular, Osavul is expanding its presence in Germany and Scandinavia, where it plans to cooperate with government and defense customers. The startup is also developing a partnership with NATO.

Part of the funds will be used to improve the platform, expand its functions, and develop new technologies to counter hybrid threats.
