Frogwares studio has officially opened pre-orders for its new adventure horror The Sinking City 2. The developers have detailed the content of the various editions of the game and the bonuses that players will receive for early purchase.
Frogwares studio has officially opened pre-orders for its new adventure horror The Sinking City 2. The developers have detailed the content of the various editions of the game and the bonuses that players will receive for early purchase.
This was announced by the developers on the Steam digital store.
The standard edition of The Sinking City 2 is currently priced at UAH 1,365 on Steam and UAH 1,699 on the PS Store. The Deluxe Edition will cost players UAH 1,500 on PC and UAH 1,799 on PlayStation consoles. This edition will include useful resources, three sleep essences to quickly master the character’s first ability, as well as the Arkham set with three unique outfits: «Anatomy», «Witness» and «Heretic Heraldry».
Players who pre-order any of the editions will receive an additional chthonic arsenal of three unique weapons for free: the Slate Mary pistol, the Wavecutter shotgun, and the Tektite Tommy submachine gun. Premium buyers are also promised early access to the game 24 hours before the official release and an exclusive two-hour side quest, «Holloway Manor.» Completing it will earn players the powerful «Mad Steed» revolver.
The Sinking City 2 is scheduled for release on August 18, 2026, and the project will immediately receive official Ukrainian text localization. A free demo version is also available on the game’s Steam page.
As a reminder, the Kiev studio Frogwares is known for its series of detective games about Sherlock Holmes and the first part of The Sinking City, released in 2019. The new game is being developed on the modern Unreal Engine 5 engine. This time, detective investigations will become optional, and the developers focused on creating a classic survival horror in the flooded city of Arkham, inspired by the universe of Howard Lovecraft.
