As the developers announced on the studio’s official website, PlayStation 5 users will be able to start downloading on Tuesday, November 10, at midnight local time. On Xbox Series X|S, pre-downloads will start simultaneously worldwide on the same day at 00:00 Greenwich Mean Time (UTC). Retail versions with a code in the box should appear in stores starting November 12.
The game file size will be up to 212 GB depending on the specific console, so the developers recommend preparing free space on your drives in advance.
Rockstar also announced that a free digital poster and map of Leonidas State will be available for download and printing on release day, November 19. A physical version of the poster will be available for purchase on the Rockstar Store for $0.99 or free with any purchase.
Recall that Grand Theft Auto VI may appear on Windows computers in the first quarter of 2027. This is a much faster release on PC compared to the studio’s previous projects.
