To pay for government services, taxes, and fees, the «Diya» service introduces direct payment through state banks.
«We are connecting state-owned banks for this, so you can choose a payment partner to your liking. Both your Ukrainian card and a foreign one will be suitable for payments, except for cards from the Russian Federation and Belarus, of course. You will not have to switch to any other applications during payment,» the message on the Diyya news channel states .
The first partner bank for direct payments in «Diya» was the state-owned «Ukrgasbank».
Currently, according to «Diya», it is already possible to directly pay individual entrepreneur taxes, traffic fines, driver’s license replacement, court fines and fees, as well as the online marriage service.
In addition, connected Ukrgasbank cards allow you to donate to UNITED24 and purchase military bonds.
«Diya» also promised to report on the gradual connection of other state-owned banks.
Interestingly, in 2023, much more scandalous news appeared around the passage of funds through the «Diya» service: it turned out that the financial company of the owner of the Pin-Up online casino Igor Zotko receives a commission from each transaction that goes through the «Diya» service.
Recall that the State Bureau of Investigation recently detained the nominal owner of the online casino Pin-Up Ukraine.
Moreover, in December 2024, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure for the head of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAL), Ivan Rudom. He will be held in pre-trial detention until February 4, 2025 without bail, precisely on charges of cooperation with Pin-Up. Regarding online casinos, there were reports of Russian control.
