The IT job search platform Djinni has introduced a new version of its mobile application, adding a number of long-awaited features for easier communication and an expanded toolkit for complaints about lack of feedback.
The IT job search platform Djinni has introduced a new version of its mobile application, adding a number of long-awaited features for easier communication and an expanded toolkit for complaints about lack of feedback.
The messages section has received functionality similar to modern instant messengers, the Djinni team reports. From now on, users can:
leave emoji reactions to messages;
edit already sent texts;
freely select and copy fragments of text — both in your own messages and in recruiters' comments.
Viewing job offers has become faster and more informative.

Quick feedback: You can now submit your candidacy directly from the general list via a modal window. The button state will indicate whether feedback is currently open (an inactive gray button indicates that there is no such option).
Hidden ranges: for vacancies with closed salary ranges, the display in the format «$-$$$$» has been implemented, similar to the web version.
The developers have also updated the feedback system, taking into account the most common user requests. Since the lack of response from employers remains the main reason for job seekers' dissatisfaction, new types of complaints have appeared in the application:
a separate point for cases when the recruiter ignores the dialogue;
special category of complaint: «Recruiter did not respond after test/interview.»
The platform team will take all recorded violations into account when moderating recruiter profiles. The ability to send a complaint with any reason in the «Other» category has also been retained.
The updated version of the application is already available for download inmarketplaces .
