This was announced by Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy.
"For the first half of 2025, over UAH 7 billion (or EUR 71.7 million / $86.7 million) of VAT was declared. This is UAH 1.1 billion more than last year!
"About 10 billion hryvnias were paid for January-July 2025," the People's Deputy wrote on his Telegram channel, emphasizing that OnlyFans paid $1.2 million.
In addition to the increase in the volume of the "Google tax", the number of payers also increased to 141 companies (5 new companies per quarter).
The payment leaders remain unchanged: Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy, Netflix, Wargaming, Bolt, OpenAI, Ebay, etc.
Let us remind you that in January-March 2025, foreign companies supplying IT services to Ukraine paid over UAH 3.5 billion in VAT to the budget. If we talk about the entire year 2024, the amount of the “Google tax” amounted to over UAH 12.6 billion.
