In Kharkiv, law enforcement officers exposed the activities of an illegal online porn studio where webcam models broadcast explicit content, Suspilne reports , citing the Prosecutor General's Office. To document the crime, the police spent almost 15,000 hryvnias on paying for viewings and recording broadcasts.
According to the investigation, in 2023, a Kyiv resident, together with her husband and two Kharkiv women, organized an online porn studio in Kharkiv. One of the women looked for models and supervised their work, the other was responsible for finances. The husband was in charge of technical support. Two apartments were rented for the studio, which were equipped with cameras and lighting, misleading the owners about the real purpose of the housing.
To gather evidence, law enforcement officers paid to watch and record broadcasts. The total cost of this operation was 14,920 hryvnias. The content was available only to foreign customers, and the payment was made in foreign currency.
