As the Meest press service reported, citing its survey data, 25% of Ukrainians place orders in foreign online stores once a month, another 22% several times a six-month period, and 12% 2–3 times a month.
At the same time, about 30% of respondents spend from 1,000 to 3,000 UAH on foreign marketplaces, 28% — from 3,000 to 5,000 UAH, and 22% — from 5,000 to 8,000 UAH.
“Price remains the main factor in choosing a foreign online platform. It was mentioned by more than 60% of respondents, and discounts and promotions on the desired category of goods by more than half,” Meest noted.
Meanwhile, according to the survey, our compatriots use Ukrainian stores more often, but at the same time, they spend less in them.
About a third of consumers order goods on local online platforms 2-3 times a month, another 17% — once a month, and 14% — 2-3 times a week or more often. The most common check is the amount from 1000 to 3000 UAH.
When choosing a Ukrainian store, the most important factor is the cost of delivery — it was mentioned by 68% of respondents, while 61% of respondents paid attention to the price of the product itself.
“The war also affected the structure of expenses. Most often, respondents noted that they had to give up certain products, in particular, branded clothing, expensive appliances and electronics, as well as perfumes,” Meest Shopping notes.
As dev.ua wrote, last year Ukrainians spent UAH 256 billion on online purchases.
