In Ukraine, a digital service called Purple Wallet has been created, designed to manage personal and shared finances. The application automatically synchronizes transactions with monobank, helps plan budgets, and analyzes expenses using artificial intelligence.
The project developers announced the release of the dev.ua financial instrument.
The main feature of Purple Wallet is a personal AI assistant named Finn. Users can enter spending data using voice messages, photos of receipts, or plain text. The AI automatically recognizes the information, converts it into financial records, and is also able to predict the user’s financial situation and warn about possible cash gaps several months in advance.
In addition to personal accounting, the service allows you to create shared budget spaces where private accounts remain confidential and shared expenses are open to other participants. This allows you to manage a family budget without disclosing all personal transactions.
For security reasons, all transaction descriptions, categories, and dialogs are encrypted using AES-256 with a unique key for each user. Media files are deleted immediately after processing, and deleting an account permanently destroys the encryption key.
The service offers a free basic version, which includes accounting for up to 5 accounts and 3 budgets, as well as a paid Pro subscription costing 999 UAH/year with unlimited accounts and extended forecasting up to 90 days. Currently, due to the lack of a connected payment module, the developers provide the opportunity to connect the Pro tariff for free through the support service.
The application is already available for download on iOS and Android, and also works in a web version. In the future, the Purple Wallet team plans to expand the list of supported banks for automatic import, add multi-currency accounting, and integrate additional analytics tools.
