«I have read many of your messages and comments regarding the commanders' effectiveness rating. I agree, the term 'effectiveness rating' is unfortunate. And I apologize to everyone who was offended by it» Chernogorenko wrote on her social networks.
Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the launch of the «Report on Defeat» project, which helps digitize and streamline reporting on the results of combat operations in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
«The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is launching a digital rating of commanders' combat effectiveness. Today, the Government supported the Resolution, thanks to which commanders will submit reports on enemy defeats to „Army+“,» Kateryna Chernogorenko commented on this initiative at the time.
This formulation did not please many military personnel. In particular, the Chief of Staff of Azov, Bohdan «Tavr» Krotevych, entered into a discussion with the Deputy Minister of Defense.
«Enemy losses in a direction depend on many factors. Yes, one of them is the commander’s decision. And if this were the only factor, then okay, we could make statistics on enemy losses and losses of our forces,» the military man noted .
Now Kateryna Chernogorenko noted that the main idea of the «Report on Defeat» project is to digitize and streamline reporting on the results of combat operations, which is already being done by Ukrainian commanders.
«I want to invite the military to a discussion, ask for opinions, suggestions on the implementation of such a project. This is important for our team. Let’s change the system together. Put + if you want to join. We plan to hold such a meeting online,» the deputy minister said.
