Ukrainian indie team HmarkaTeam has released their new adventure visual novel Detective INNA DUKE on Steam. The project invites players to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a rainy and mysterious noir Kyiv, where a detective will have to investigate a mysterious disappearance.

The developers announced the release on the game’s Steam page. In honor of the project’s release, there is an introductory discount of 20%, thanks to which you can purchase the title for 160 hryvnias.
The game’s plot revolves around the kidnapping of a small furry streamer, Oleg Khomyakov, who is taken from his own apartment right during a broadcast. The investigation is taken by ambitious detective Inna Duke and her partner Arkady Dyky. Together with them, players will have to find out the motives of the crime, look for clues, and save the hostage’s life.
The gameplay combines the classic reading of a visual novel with interactive elements. The developers have integrated working with the evidence board, picking locks, searching for clues in abandoned tunnels, and interactive dialogues. In addition, the player’s decisions will directly affect the development of the plot and the ending of the detective story.
Detective INNA DUKE is the second project in the HmarkaTeam portfolio. Previously, the indie team released the science fiction text game «Signal: Uncharted Lands». Along with the release of the new detective novel, the developers also presented a special Steam bundle, which allows you to purchase both projects of the studio at a discount.
