The government has adopted a resolution that allows reporting poor connectivity via "Diya"

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine announced that soon Ukrainians will be able to report poor mobile communication and Internet in their region through the «Diya» application — the relevant resolution was supported by the government. How will it work?

«High-quality mobile communication is a critically important need for Ukrainians, especially during power outages. Soon, Ukrainians will be able to report problems with communication and mobile Internet in a few clicks in the „Diya“ application,» the Ministry of Digital Affairs said in a statement.

The agency said that information about communication issues will be sent directly to the National Commission for State Regulation of Electronic Communications (NCEC). It will analyze the feedback and, together with operators, solve the problem and improve communication in a specific area.

«Ukrainians should be able to call their relatives, call emergency services, or view the airstrike map, despite the power outage», — commented the head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, this functionality will work even when the user is offline. A problem report will be sent as soon as the connection is restored. He added that this service will be available soon.

Recall that previously mobile operators Kyivstar, Ukrtelecom, and Vodafone announced an increase in the cost of their tariffs.
