For verification, you need to log in to «Diya» and confirm your identity, then take a short video recording for identification, as well as a photo of a document confirming your identity.
In addition, you must enter your residential address and provide your taxpayer identification number (formerly TIN).
Users are offered to choose which card they want to have — physical or virtual. You also need to choose a unique name for the new profile. Accounts can be opened in different currencies: euros, US dollars, Canadian dollars, Polish zlotys, pounds sterling. The Ukrainian hryvnia is not currently on the list.

After full authorization, the user receives a confirmation of successful verification via email.
It is unlikely that Revolut will work with hryvnia cards, for example, salary cards or cards for sole proprietors, believes Mykhailo Demkiv, a financial analyst at ICU Group. Clients in Ukraine will be able to open cards only in foreign currency — primarily in dollars and euros, he suggests.
«Ukrainians will be able to convert currency at their bank and transfer it to an account in Revolut,» says Demkiv. «This will help them withdraw funds abroad and keep them there in currency.» Such an option will, in particular, simplify replenishment of brokerage accounts abroad, he adds.
It was previously reported that the Revolut application was localized into Ukrainian. Recall that Revolut recently conducted beta testing of its product in Ukraine.
UPD. The Revolut press service noted that currently «the services are NOT OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED for customers in Ukraine (as reported by some media outlets).»
«However, we can confirm that we are already beta testing Revolut services with a limited group of Ukrainian customers (we allow some users to register for testing; one of these groups received early access yesterday). We encourage all Ukrainians to download the Revolut app and join the waiting list to receive notifications when Revolut services become available to the general public,» the company said.
Revolut is one of the most valuable British financial technology companies, founded in 2015. Its latest current valuation is $45 billion .
