AI company CEO had to change project name due to famous OnlyFans model

Sam Hogan, CEO of the American AI company Inference, announced the Project AELLA scientific initiative at X, but within nine hours he changed the name to Project OSSAS, and here's why.
Sam Hogan wrote a post in X about the launch of Project AELLA. The project aims to make scientific research more accessible through structured reviews created by LLM.
But it turned out that AELLA is also the name of a popular OnlyFans model, sex worker, and Substack researcher, whose existence the company's CEO didn't even know about until the post in X, Business Insider writes .
After this discovery, Hogan published another post, but with a new name - Project OSSAS.
“We thank those who brought the context around this name to our attention, as well as our partners and the research community for their continued support,” Hogan wrote in X.
Aella was one of the top creators on OnlyFans in 2020. Her monthly income was up to $100,000. She also works as an escort. In February, on the Dating Talk podcast, Aella said that she charges $4,000 for the first hour and then $1,000 for each additional hour.
Aella now makes most of her income from research. She launched Substack’s “Knowingless,” which analyzes sex and relationships using data mining. Her approach has gained traction in tech circles. Venture capitalist Marc Andreessen called one of her ideas “fantastic.”
By the way, in October, Inference completed an initial investment round of $11.8 million, led by Andreessen Horowitz and Multicoin Capital.
Under the post, Hogan and Aella began exchanging comments, and this communication, it seems, may end in collaboration.
“It would be cool to do visualizations for some of your surveys,” Hogan wrote. “I wouldn’t mind,” Aella replied.
“No, no, they won’t come, this can’t happen.” Police officers in the Carpathian region demanded a $1,000 bribe from an Onlyfans model. EP released a recording of their conversation
