The SET University and DarkOwl partnership will provide students with opportunities to engage in research, hands-on learning, and career development initiatives in cybersecurity and darknet intelligence, the university said. Joint projects, knowledge sharing, and participation in industry events, including hackathons and training programs, are planned.
«It is critical to equip the next generation of professionals with the necessary skills to combat these challenges,» said Mark Turnage, CEO and co-founder of DarkOwl, speaking about the rapidly evolving cybersecurity threats.
SET University said the memorandum of understanding with DarkOwl will help students and faculty improve their cybersecurity expertise and prepare them for careers in cybersecurity, intelligence analytics, and digital forensics.
The university offers master’s programs licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science and micro-master’s programs in cybersecurity. In addition, it provides scholarships for training in cybersecurity to military personnel, their families, women in IT, and people with special achievements in IT.
