«Beware, scam! Fraudsters are posing as NVIDIA recruiters and contractors: they offer fake vacancies, ask for prepayment, writing to mail, instant messengers, and social networks,» Zinchenko wrote on LinkedIn.
Nvidia says it is aware of cases where scammers pose as company recruiters and contact potential candidates via email, text messages, social media, or instant messaging.
Elena Zinchenko said that in Ukraine Nvidia publishes vacancies only on the NV Careers and DOU websites.
«We duplicate ads on LinkedIn with a link to NV Careers. We communicate only from the addresses @nvidia.com or @career.nvidia.com. We never ask for any payments or «registration fees,» the HR business partner indicated.
She advised submitting resumes only through the official online portal NV Careers or dou.ua and carefully checking links. Currently, Nvidia has two open vacancies in Ukraine on DOU — the company is looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer (Networking, Linux) and a Senior Kubernetes Software Engineer for remote work.
Previously, Ukrainian-Maltese studio 4A Games, known for the Metro series of games, published a warning about a fraudulent account posing as its recruiter on Discord.
