In the first quarter of 2025, the highest average salary in Ukrainian IT was received by Fullstack developers — $731.56 for each year of experience.
In the first quarter of 2025, the highest average salary in Ukrainian IT was received by Fullstack developers — $731.56 for each year of experience.
This is evidenced by data from the Djinni.co service, which analyzed information on hiring specialists with experience from 1 to 10 years, in categories where at least 10 candidates were hired.
The study lists the following top 5 most expensive specializations:
- Fullstack — $731.56 / year of experience (3.9 years of experience on average).
- Python — $714.31 / year (3.59 years).
- Golang — $714.29 / year (4.85 years).
- C++ — $704.35 / year (3.83 years).
- .NET — $650.63 / year (4.14 years).
PHP developers earn the least, at just $436.75 per year of experience, despite having an average of 5.62 years of experience. This is the largest experience-pay imbalance of any category.
Interestingly, the most experienced candidates are Android developers (6.58 years of experience on average), but their salary is only $530.99 per year. Node.js and JavaScript specialists have about the same experience (4.66 and 4.12 years), but salaries differ by almost $71. iOS specialists have slightly lower rates ($607.79), but with a good level of experience — 4.28 years.
Earlier, DOU and Djinni presented new data on the Ukrainian IT market for March, noting some record numbers. In the first quarter of 2025, companies posted three thousand, or 21%, more vacancies than in the fourth quarter of 2024. This is also 30% more than in the first quarter of last year.
